The Gallery will be open to the public:

    Friday: 5-7

Your pottery is available for pick up: It is best to pick-up anytime the gallery is open. If you need to come at another time, please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Please note, while a class is running our doors remain locked to keep the studio environment peaceful and undisturbed.

  • We try to offer classes for a wide-variety of ages, levels, and interests. Please note that most classes have age requirements and some have recommended skill levels.

First time or has it been a long time? We recommend trying out an Open Wheel or Hand Building Workshop.

Please be sure to read class descriptions carefully so that you pick the right class for you. We want you to have a the best experience creating with us!

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the listed start time. We lock our doors during class time to help preserve a focused and peaceful environment.

Wear clothes that are comfortable and you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Clay does wash out of most things and we provide aprons for your use. We recommend tying back long hair and removing jewelry from hands and wrists. Long nails are not a deal breaker, but they can make things a little tricky for you.

All classes include an allotment of clay and tools/materials. Fired work will be available for pick-up 4-5 weeks after your final class.

  • Yes…

While your ceramic-wares are indeed food, dishwasher, and microwave safe - we would recommend hand washing to protect them.

  • Not at this time. All clay used in our studio is a custom mix and we know it well. For the integrity of your work and our kilns, we only fire work made in the studio with our clay. Thanks for understanding.

Studio Policies

Cancellation

Our class sizes are small and each spot reserved is just for you. In order to refill spots, we need a bit of a heads-up.

A full refund requires 2 days notice for a one-time class/workshop and at least 5 days notice before the first day of a 6 week course.

Sick kid? Sick yourself? Life get in the way at the last minute? It happens. Cancelations with 24 hours notice may be given credit towards a future class.

Please contact us at reclaimceramics@gmail.com if you need to cancel.

Finished Work

Pottery for most classes goes through 4 phases: drying, bisque firing, glazing, glaze firing. Due to this process, your work will be available 4-5 weeks after the end of your class.

You should receive an email when your work is ready to go home with you. Any work that is unclaimed after 2 weeks will be disposed of. That makes us very sad but we just do not have the space to store old work.

Ceramics are fragile and the firing process can be unpredictable. We will take every professional precaution to make sure your work makes it back you looking amazing but, please know that cracks, chips, etc. can happen. If any finished piece becomes completely lost or broken due to actions of the studio, we will do our best to make it right with you.
